Like other aerobic activities, dancing can be beneficial for improving the function of your heart. The study that was published in the year 2016 in the American Journal of Preventive Medicine discovered that those who participated in moderate-intensity dancing (defined by the researchers as being enough to get you to feel exhausted and sweaty) were 46 per cent less likely to develop heart disease or suffer from it than those who did not dance over ten years by data from a population-based survey of people aged 40 and over. For comparison, moderately intense walkers were only 25% less likely to have heart health problems. Visit Lagoon Leisure Center
