Inadequate storage of food can result in food loss

    As food begins to degrade due to poor storage practices or natural processes its taste can begin to alter. This could make the food more difficult to consume because some people might dislike the flavor of the food that is changing. Bananas are a good example of this. Many people don’t like “ripe” bananas whose peels have started to turn black. However, whatever food is consumed the method in which it is stored can affect its flavor.
